The Somali Oregon Service Center
The Somali Oregon Service Center is a community-based organization, which supports people who are socially and economically disadvantaged in particular but not limited to people of Somali origin and heritage living and /or working within Oregon.
The community organization was set up by group of local volunteers in September 30th, 2020 to help all Refugees immigrants. SOS-CENTER provides free and impartial information, advice and guidance on range of issues including medical, welfare, housing, immigration, schools and employment.

With new funds and staff in place, we aim to increase our capacity
Assisting with the creation of hate crime and discrimination reports
Through our Advocacy Support project, we help people from the Somali community to understand their rights and empower them to speak up when they are victims of harassment, discrimination, hate crimes or other unfair treatment.
